Watch — Who is Dr. McKenzie?

Dr. Brooks McKenzie earned his Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology with an emphasis in Developmental Psychology from Texas Christian University in 2010. He served as Research Scientist and Assistant Director at the TCU Institute of Child Development, where he led TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) research and training that equips frontline interventionists with trauma-informed, practical care for at-risk children.

His peer-reviewed scholarship documents the irreversible harm caused when courts and agencies violate parental rights. He helped advance SB293 and SJR27, and in 2025 he personally gathered and submitted hundreds of signatures to qualify conservative challengers to Texas Supreme Court Justices Blacklock and Busby for the 2026 primary — confronting judicial failures tied to the James Younger case.

As Tarrant County GOP Precinct 2468 Chair, Dr. McKenzie has trained thousands of DFPS/CPS caseworkers, attorneys, and judges with evidence-based practices, exposed corruption in family courts, and authored emergency resolutions under Rule 44 to save James Younger and censure complicit justices. His campaign is anchored in a simple mandate: Turn back to God, Restore the Family, Restore Texas.

Six Non-Negotiable Reforms
for a Delegate-Led Party

01

Restore Integrity & Transparency

Clean governance, open meetings, and transparent contracts. Leadership must answer first and only to Texas delegates — no backroom deals, no Washington influence, no special interests.

Delegates first — always
02

Make Rule 44 Reform the Top Priority

Strengthen and use Rule 44 to censure and remove any Republican judge, legislator, or official who protects corruption, enables abuse, or violates the Party platform. Dr. McKenzie personally added judges to the list of censurable officials at the 2024 Convention.

Delegate accountability replaces backroom protection
03

End Party Protection for Court Corruption

Bring every backroom deal into the light. Hold every judge and bureaucrat to their oath and the Texas Constitution. No more shielding fraud upon the court or state-sanctioned harm to children.

Every Republican is accountable to the platform
04

Protect Children from Abuse & Cover-Ups

Mobilize the full power of the RPT to purge CPS, DFPS, ISDs, and family courts of anyone enabling the destruction of the nuclear family. Making saving James Younger a binding legislative priority is non-negotiable.

Defend the least among us — no exceptions
05

Defend Parental Rights & the Nuclear Family

Parents — not bureaucrats or activist judges — must lead the upbringing, education, and moral formation of their children. The RPT will stand without apology for faith, family, and the structure that built Texas.

Restoring God's design ends the chaos
06

Grassroots-First Operation

Run the RPT for the delegates who elect its leaders. Demand accountability from every Republican, reject D.C. influence, and return the Party to the people of Texas who built it and sustain it.

The RPT panders to no one but the grassroots

The Case for Reform

Truth. Family. Accountability.

Texas families deserve party leadership that will confront broken systems directly, defend parental rights, and restore trust without hiding behind consultants, excuses, or empty slogans.

This campaign is built around a simple promise: tell the truth about what families are facing, stand up for children, and push for real accountability wherever public institutions have failed the people they were supposed to protect.

Protect Children

Put child safety ahead of bureaucracy, incentives, and political convenience.

Defend Families

Fight for parental rights, due process, and a system families can trust again.

Demand Accountability

Hold institutions, party leadership, and public actors to the same standard they demand from Texans.

"My work has always been about protecting children, strengthening families, and restoring trust in the systems that serve Texans — including our Party rules and reforms. I will not compromise on truth, accountability, or the people we are commanded to serve."
— Dr. Brooks McKenzie, RPT Chair Candidate

Restore Judicial Accountability.
Defend the Nuclear Family.

Dr. Brooks McKenzie is a lifelong conservative Texan running for RPT Chair to restore grassroots trust, uphold faith, and enforce the rule of law.

He calls delegates to protect children, defend parental rights, and preserve the nuclear family as Texas's cornerstone — focusing upon integrity and accountability in every reform.

Restoring God's design ends the chaos of gender-mutilation, abortion accommodation, school abuse, and the multitude of state-sponsored child abuses. He will confront corruption, honor the Constitution, and serve God alone.

Scripture for This Season

"I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am till it is accomplished! Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division."

"From now on five in one house will be divided: three against two, and two against three. Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law."

Luke 12:49–53 (NKJV)

Restore integrity: honest leadership that earns trust through transparency and accountability.

Defend parental rights: families deserve respect, voice, and protection in every policy decision.

Put Texas families first: policy priorities that safeguard children and strengthen communities statewide.

Accountable public servants: the RPT panders no more.

Straight Answers for Texas GOP Delegates

Who is Dr. Brooks McKenzie?

Former Assistant Director of Research at the TCU Institute of Child Development — a principled conservative grounded in scripture, committed to servant leadership and protecting families over insider agendas. Note: He was not always a Christian, which shapes his testimony and resolve.

What qualifies him to lead the Republican Party of Texas?

He has exposed corruption without big donors or insider backing, supported by grassroots Texans and a statewide tour on the Magic Bus. Over two decades of frontline work with Texas families, DFPS/CPS, attorneys, and judges gives him real-world knowledge no career politician can match.

What is his record on parental rights and family integrity?

He treats parental rights and child protection as non-negotiable conservative duties, grounded in faith and the God-ordained responsibility to defend families.

What has he done in grassroots Republican politics?

He has stood shoulder-to-shoulder with delegates, fought for conservative priorities at past conventions, and in the 2025 session helped deliver SB293 and SJR27 (Prop 12). In 2024 he helped protect Rule 44 during the Wednesday night Rules Committee vote, including adding judges to the list of censurable officials.

What is his involvement with SB293, SJR27, and Rule 44?

He was directly engaged in SB293 and SJR27 at every phase. During the 2024 Convention he gave one of the final testimonies on Rule 44 after it appeared killed in committee — and he personally added the ability to censure judges. Rule 44 must be strengthened, streamlined, and used with intent.

What does he plan to change as RPT Chair?

Open meetings, clean contracts, and real accountability — using the RPT's authority to hold legislators answerable to the grassroots. He will bow neither to D.C. nor to donors. The RPT panders no more.

Anything fried with gravy.

Favorite Scripture?

"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" — Psalm 46:10

Favorite Quote?

"The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of men who wanted to be left alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. The moment the men who wanted to be left alone are forced to fight back, it is a form of suicide. They are literally killing off who they used to be. Which is why, when forced to take up violence, these men who wanted to be left alone, fight with unholy vengeance against those who murdered their former lives. They fight with raw hate, and a drive that cannot be fathomed by those who are merely play-acting at politics and terror. TRUE TERROR will arrive at these people's door, and they will cry, scream and beg for mercy… but it will fall upon the deaf ears of the men who just wanted to be left alone."

— Alexandr Solzhenitsyn

Why did he step forward?

"I never wanted to enter politics. I wanted to be left alone. I wanted the constitution to be honored. Tarrant County refused. So here I am."

Save James Younger &
SCOTX Censure Resolutions

James Younger, an innocent Texas boy, is being subjected to prohibited procedures in California — with damage growing more irreversible every day. Dr. McKenzie has introduced resolutions demanding the RPT act immediately.

Emergency Legislative Priority

Resolution to Save James Younger

This resolution calls on the Republican Party of Texas to make saving James Younger a top legislative priority — commanding Republican legislators to pass legislation in the 2027 session that declares exclusive Texas UCCJEA jurisdiction, empowers the AG to issue emergency relief, and imposes felony penalties on any person facilitating prohibited gender procedures on Texas children.

Carries forward the 2024 RPT Platform classification of gender modification of minors as child abuse.

Rule 44 Censure Resolution

SCOTX Censure Resolution

Formal censure of Texas Supreme Court Justices Jane Bland, Jimmy Blacklock, Jeffrey S. Boyd, Brett Busby, Rebeca Huddle, Debra Lehrmann, and Evan Young under Rule 44 — for three or more failures to protect James Younger that violated core RPT platform principles, enabling his relocation to California and continued exposure to procedures Texas law classifies as child abuse.

Seek adoption at your County or Senatorial District Convention with instructions to carry forward to State Convention.
